AFTER THE SKY 3D

More than 2 years actually, I can’t remember much but I do remember it was my 1st complete 3D scene.

 

THE SHIP


This was my 1st ‘hard surface’ model. Sucks.
The ship had a simple animation, moving on a curve and had attached 2 particles emitters in the back that shoot particles with a ramp on the shader, simulating fire.

BUILDINGS

The ‘sky buildings’ were simple shapes to simulate a floating city.

FAKING THE SKY

For the sky I used Maya’s fluids.

 

THE END

The scene ended with the ship that landed on this stand.

 

The camera was moving on a curve too and had the ship as target to face it.
